Australian software vendor Atlassian announced in early March that this year's Atlassian Summit in Las Vegas will not take place as planned due to the global COVID-19 crisis. We very much welcome this decision, as the health of all customers, partners and visitors is of course our top priority.
However, Atlassian partners and customers should not have to miss out on the content of the Summit, which is why an Atlassian Remote Summit will take place on 1 and 2 April. Participants will receive all information and updates on topics related to the Atlassian Ecosystem via the live stream. Furthermore, the remote event offers an ideal platform to become familiar with solutions that enable their teams to work better in a decentralised manner. Especially in light of the fact that more and more companies are currently switching to home offices, collaborative working is essential.
When we talk about decentralised working, the social intranet tool Linchpin must of course also be mentioned. We would have been happy to show you the versatile possibilities of this modern collaboration platform in person at our stand. If you would like to learn more about Linchpin, click on the following link or contact us directly.
In addition to the keynote sessions by Atlassian's two founders, Scott Farquhar and Mike Cannon-Brookes, over 20 exciting breakout sessions and demos will be broadcast. venITure GmbH, together with its customer ESL Gaming GmbH, the global market leader in eSports, will lead a breakout session on "Amplifying Collaboration: How ESL Gaming customized Jira to connect teams across the globe". The session will explain how the Jira tool has been extended to enable ESL to properly plan events for over 600 employees spread across 15 locations.
