Why can't user data be pinned?
It is not possible to pin account information. For this reason, Atlassian stores user account information in a central identity service and in several controlled replication services. Since Atlassian hosts the services globally to meet customer performance requirements, account information cannot be pinned in these services. Therefore, the product does not contain account information. Instead, the data is retrieved from identity services using representative IDs. More information can be found here.
